VBS UK manufactures and installs a complete range of window blinds for use in schools and colleges, NHS, government buildings, offices, etc. in Wales, the Midlands and South West. All our contract fabrics are flame retardant and a wide spectrum allows you to choose basic translucent shading, solar reflective, dim-out, blackout or sunscreening qualities. We also offer a full repair service.
Products of particular note include:
- VBS/Safe-T System - a vertical blind that functions like any other, but has no cords or chain to act as ligature points. Ideal for areas where there are young children present such as créches, infants schools, waiting rooms and for use in risk areas in the NHS.
- VBS/TB System - a series of total blackout blinds with a variety of control options for use in NHS (X-ray rooms, ophthalmology, consulting rooms), in schools (science laboratories), photographic studios, sensory rooms, or anywhere that light exclusion is a necessity at times.
- VBS/TT2000 - a heavy duty, wide bodied vertical blind headrail with wheeled carriers and geared tilt action. This is a smooth running track designed for heavier contract use.
- VBS/MCI - a neat 25mm venetian blind with a single looped chain control unit that both tilts and raises/lowers the blind. Unlike standard venetian blinds that have trailing pull cords when the blind is in the raised position, this control chain always stays the same length.
- VBS/System 45 - an exceptionally heavy duty roller blind with a strong geared clutch winding mechanism that will easily cope with larger windows and heavier fabrics.
- VBS/PF - in venetian, pleated or roller format, these blinds are manufactured in frames that simply clip onto special brackets that fit beneath the window bead. The blinds can be fitted to PVC windows without drilling or screwing, something that could potentially affect warranties.
Always aware of child safety, VBS UK has restraining units for looped cords and chain that reduce the possibility of ligature.
