Industrial Roller Doors
Industrial roller shutter doors from VBS UK are powered by 3 phase Safedrive motors with the very latest digital control technology. Designed to provide protection for openings up to 7000mm X 7000mm these doors incorporate 75mm X 20 swg slat profile and wind lock guides together with a strong 'T' section bottom rail.
Support plates vary in size and thickness dependent upon the size of shutter, the smallest being 406 X 406 X 8mm rising to 500 X 500 X 10mm. Guide angles are from 75 X 50 X 6mm to 75 X 75 X 6mm and end plate angles from 75 X 50 X 6mm to 150 X 90 x 10mm. The shutters are generally of a galvanised finish although plastisol or powder coating is available for a surcharge.
The Safedrive motor system has been specially developed for powering unsprung rolling shutter doors and the gearbox incorporates a separate safety brake meeting anti-fallback requirements. It has a high precision worm gearbox to ensure smooth operation and a long life, typically usage up to 6 times per hour and a life of more than 20,000 cycles.
The digital control system enables control over the motor limits from ground level, display of door status, load monitoring in the open direction and has a programmable door maintenance indicator and operations cycle counter.
A number of control options are available to suit individual applications and optional hood covers, fascias and wicket doors complete an all round package.
