VBS/SS75C
The SS75C is a continental style commercial shutter that is fitted with a galvanised steel curtain (as opposed to the usual aluminium curtain). It has been designed to reduce overall installation time and provide a finished security shutter that is neater and less obtrusive than the traditional style commercial shutter that utilises large steel fixing angles (or flagposts) and steel guides.
The curtain is made up using 75mm x 22swg, scrolled, galvanised steel lath (although 20swg is also available as an option and with design approval), whilst the box is two part, rolled aluminium with steel end plates and the guides are extruded aluminium, 90mm wide x 34mm deep. The guides contain 4mm brush pile strip that results in quieter operation than traditional style shutters.
The SS75C will span widths of up to 6000mm and is suitable for commercial or retail use.
