CLEAR OPENING SIZES ARE CALCULATED AS FOLLOWS:

FOR WIDTH, DEDUCT TWO APPROPRIATE GUIDE RAIL WIDTHS. SO FOR A SHUTTER WITH AN OVERALL WIDTH OF 2000mm AND A 250mm BOX, CLEAR OPENING WIDTH IS 2000mm - 150mm (2 x 75mm GUIDES) = 1850mm.

FOR HEIGHT, DEDUCT APPROPRIATE BOX SIZE AND BOTTOM RAIL UNDERHANG. SO FOR AN OVERALL SHUTTER HEIGHT OF 2000mm, CLEAR OPENING HEIGHT IS 2000mm - 250mm - 90mm = 1660mm.

N.B. - IF BOTTOM RAIL HAS REINFORCING ANGLE, DEDUCT A FURTHER 3mm TO ACCURATELY DETERMINE CLEAR HEIGHT

The SS60 utilises an exceptionally strong, larger sectioned, twin-walled, extruded lath that makes it suited to higher security commercial and retail use. The high strength of the lath enables manufacture of a shutter that will comfortably span widths of up to 6000mm.

Colour finishes: slats - white (RAL 9010) / brown (RAL 8014) / cream (RAL 1015); boxes, guides and bottom rails white (RAL 9010) or brown (RAL 8014) only. Other RAL or BS colours are available at a surcharge (click here to see stocked colours) although almost any colour can be accommodated (POA)
