VBS/SS15
The SS15 is a lightweight roller shutter that utilises a CFC free, foam filled, rolled aluminium slat. The shutter has a compact design and offers insulating and sound deadening properties, making it ideal for lower to medium security applications in domestic situations.
It is also a popular choice for internal applications where it can be used on bar, servery and reception counters, sealing off the opening neatly and aesthetically at the close of business and functioning as an access barrier.
The slats come in two formats - vented and unvented. The former has a series of light slits between the slats that disappear when the shutter is fully closed down, whilst the unvented slat is completely solid. Vented slats are useful when the shutter is intended to double up as a shade against light or for more complete control over light ingress where they provide a degree of light and vision despite the shutter being partly or almost fully closed.
